Ingredients: Disaronno Amaretto | Lemon | Orange | Egg Whites | Cherries |
Mix 1 ½ ounces Disaronno Amaretto, a ½ ounce of egg whites, the juice of a full lemon & the juice of ½ a medium-sized orange in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake until egg white are frothed, strain into a rocks glass over ice. Garnish with cherries – BYOB in Toronto has a great selection. The perfect Spring cocktail, refreshing, simple & delicious.
Whoever put Fall/Winter fashion week in the ‘Spring’ must have been drinking a Negroni – because they’re perfect for any season! I can’t wait to be having one of these classics poolside. Any day now, right?
Ingredients: Sweet Vermouth | Tanqueray No. 10 | Campari | Orange
Directions: Pour equal parts sweet vermouth, gin (I used Tanq 10) and Campari into a shaker with ice. Shake & strain into a rocks glass with ice and garnish with your choice of an orange peel or a swirl – it’s as easy as that!
The Holidays are a time of indulgence – if you’re like me (and I know you are), you’re gearing up for a couple of busy weeks that will include a lot of champagne drinking, wine sipping, and the occasional celebratory shot or two… That said, as much as we may love our long nights out, they definitely do take a toll on our bodies. Symptom number one – the hangover. Consider the following recipe an early holiday gift from yours truly – this juice is filled with all kinds of healthy deliciousness and always leaves me feeling energized and reinvigorated after a night filled with (a little too much) festive cheer.

Spinach – helps the body’s circulatory system | Kale – full of antioxidants |Broccoli – the nutrients in broccoli help get rid of headaches | Parsley – helps cleanse the liver, kidneys, and urinary tract | Celery – helps calm down the nervous system | Cucumber – they taste great! | Green Apples – help remove toxins from the body | Lemon – helps continue the removal of toxins | Grapefruit – really good for cleansing the digestive system |

A Few Pointers
Thoroughly wash all vegetables and fruits! | Juice in the order that you feel best works for your machine – every one is different. | Don’t be afraid to use the stalks as well as the leaves, but separate the two first for the most juice! | I serve myself a glass and bottle the rest, with a good shake it’s good for a few days in the fridge.
Now that the craziness of Fashion Week is over I’m finding myself craving some at-home time with friends and loved ones. There’s nothing better than a great drink to help set you apart as the host-with-the-most! I tried this little concoction the other day & it will definitely be a fall staple this year.
Bulleit Bourbon | Grand Marnier | Bitters | Lemon | Ceres grapefruit juice | Orange
1. Fill your martini shaker with ice | 2.Pour 2 ounces of Bulleit Bourbon into the shaker | 3. Follow it up with 1 ounce of Grand Marnier | 4. Pour half an once of freshly squeezed lemon juice into the shaker | 5. Followed by half an ounce of Ceres grapefruit juice | 6. Add a couple of dashes of Bitters into the mix | 7. Shake it all up!
For this drink I used a coupe glass to take the look to the next level, but obviously any glass will do. Strain the cocktail into the glass and top it off with an orange swirl garnish.
There you have it – simple and delicious!
