Out with the old and in with the new… clothes that is! Spring is finally here and with the arrival of the new season, it’s time to slowly but surely lose those heavy parkas and knitted sweaters and start replacing them with lighter more breathable clothing! With that being said, you’re probably in the market to add some new pieces to your wardrobe. Hudson’s Bay just launched their spring look book featuring a carefully curated selections of brands to match the most stylish of men’s aesthetic. I’ve recently partnered with the brand to highlight and style a few pieces from their portfolio to give you guys a little style inspiration! Continue Reading…
Last week was a special one for those in Toronto that work in fashion. Toronto Fashion Week is one of my favourite times of the year in the city, there’s of course the fashion, the events, the networking and most of all the energy! This season I teamed up with canadian brand Rudsak as a social media correspondent to give you guys behind the scene access and exclusive moments via social media. I’ve been a fan of the brand for quite some time now and they’ve really made a name for themselves by consistently providing quality and innovation season after season. The show was great and although I’m amped for Spring + Summer, the runway collection got me excited about shopping for fall coats and leather accessories. Before heading to the show, I got the chance to put a look together featuring this dope lightweight nylon jacket from the brand, called Lamero. I kept the colour palette light to compliment the jacket and wore a pair of burgundy kicks to give the outfit that little extra something! It’s cool, it’s casual, and fun! Continue Reading…
Hi guys, I hope that life has been treating you well these days. I’m definitely still on a high from my trip to Paris. It’s my third time traveling to this beautiful city and I must admit that every time I visit, I fall more & more in love. I feel like everyone has a place in the world that makes them feel extra special inside, and for me, it’s Paris!
A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to head out to New York City for the global launch of the NMD sneakers by Adidas Originals. Two days in Soho, learning about kicks, a party and having free time to explore my surroundings sounds like the perfect Break From Toronto,to me. New York is that magical city where no matter how many times you visit there will always be something new to discover. The NMD shoe was inspired by street culture and New York was the perfect place to launch it. Whenever I search for street style inspiration the first two places that come to mind are New York and Paris. The NMD was designed for the the wanderer, the urban traveler, someone that appreciates the old but is always looking for what’s next. I don’t know about you but it sounds like these sneakers were made for our generation. This is the first release from the NMD series and from the looks of it, things are about to get real LIT. Check out some of my favourite snaps and a few of my recommendations next time you’re visiting Soho.

Until next time,
Hey guys, here’s a short style post that I shot last week while working in New York City. One of the things that I love about traveling is the fact that you’re usually forced outside of your comfort zone. It should come as no surprise that my team and I definitely follow a certain pattern or theme when it comes to the content that we create and let’s just say New York didn’t make it easy for us haha! Like I mean, do clean plain walls exist in Soho?! I don’t think so! We shot this look while out exploring the neighbourhood on our first day. I’m really into anything longline right now and I love this longline jacket I recently got from my friends over in Europe. I wore it over a black cape, and a grey sweatshirt with some ripped denim and a fresh pair of high top kicks. Stay tuned for my full NY recap post!
ChristianWhat I’m Wearing
It’s December 1st and as I sit down and write this travel post, I must say that the last half of this year has truly been a blessed one. One of the things that I love about being a blogger is that it opens doors to opportunities that can sometimes be life changing. Last month I got the opportunity to travel to the island of Tobago and learn a little bit about their lifestyle and fashion.
The great people at Fashion Vanguard invited us down to check out their inaugural fashion buyers exhibition. This exhibition showcased 9 reputable designers with roots from the island.
I, of course had my favourites and gravitated towards more of your staples/essentials from a brand titled I Say U Clothing. It’s cool to see what works in regards to fashion in other parts of the world and it’s even cooler to see the influence of different cultures reflected in the garments. Linen (for it’s breathability, I’m sure) was a common fabric used throughout a lot of the featured designers especially the menswear line, Millhouse. Neoprene, which is one of my favourite materials this year was very well displayed throughout some of the womenswear designers such as, Lush Kingdom. Photography by: Vitina Blumenthal for ChristianConfidential.comAfter taking in all the dope fashion, it was time to get a taste of the Tobago lifestyle. Beautiful weather, friendly people and great food (I tried shark for the first time), I’m not really sure what else I could’ve asked for. We spent some time at Pigeon Point beach, partied at the infamous ‘Shade’ nightclub and relaxed by the pool at our villa. All in all, this was a great experience and Tobago is filled with hidden gems and treasure both in fashion and lifestyle. If you’re looking for a destination to unwind and reflect, Tobago is a destination to consider. A special thank you to everyone that made our stay what it was especially; Jamilia, Karen, Kery & Kevon.
Until next time,
It’s kind of hard for me to believe it but 2015 is shortly coming to an end. I honestly don’t know where the time has gone, I swear to you that it was summer yesterday. That being said, I know that the last few months of the year are going to fly by even quicker due to the holidays and the millions of celebrations occurring at the same time. You guys know, for the most part this year I’ve been opting for more street style looks but when it comes to the holidays as much as I think ripped denim and bomber jackets are always a good idea, it’s probably better to dress up a little more.
I’ve teamed up with my good friends at RW&CO to showcase a look that I would wear to an event or party over the holidays. I opted to dress up their two-tone twill blazer with a collared shirt and a pair of slim fit dress pants. For me, I always try and find a subtle way to differentiate my look from the other men that may be in attendance. Something that’ll give me a little edge over the others or let people know that I didn’t just pick up the first items that I saw at a boutique. I think the two-tone blazer really helps me do that with this look. The material, the colour and the fit let others know that you’re comfortable being different in a room of guys wearing tuxes or following a black and white colour scheme but at the same time is subtle enough to not come off as if you’re trying too hard. – It’s all about a balance! If you’re in the market for a new blazer for the holidays or some dressy options, keep scrolling to the bottom for my “What I’m Wearing” section to get pieces from my look!
