I’m on a beautiful twisted journey, that I have no control of xx – That’s a recent quote that I posted on social media that really resonates with me in regards to how I feel about life right now. Over the last few months, consciously and subconsciously I’ve been doing a lot of self discovery and soul searching. I’ve been exploring different ways to create a deeper connection with the universe, myself, and those closest to me. It’s been interesting, frustrating, exciting and intimidating all at the same time. Last week I decided that I needed to get out of the city for a few days and just have some quality time to myself. I chose Miami, Florida as my destination… it’s close by, it’s familiar and for me there’s nothing more calming than the beach and warm weather. The time away was exactly what I needed, from the moment I arrived to my last evening in the sunshine state, the universe continuously sent me signs that strengthened my recent discoveries. It was a magical experience that I can’t even properly describe with words and maybe that’s just how it’s supposed to be. I don’t want to get too much into details about my discoveries as of yet but incase you guys are going through something similar I’d encourage you guys to explore those feelings. Don’t brush them off and think things will just get better, those feelings will come back and it’s the universe’s way of telling you to dig deeper, usually within yourself. Ask yourself questions like what makes you happy, what makes you feel fulfilled, what are you passionate about, are you pursuing your purpose? Be prepared to answer those questions honestly and to explore why you’ve come to those conclusions. On a side note, one thing that I do want to share is that if you can, try traveling alone. I almost forgot how liberating and powerful it can be. Going to a new place in the world where nobody knows you and you have to do everything on your own helps build your confidence and self-esteem like nothing else.
Out with the old and in with the new… clothes that is! Spring is finally here and with the arrival of the new season, it’s time to slowly but surely lose those heavy parkas and knitted sweaters and start replacing them with lighter more breathable clothing! With that being said, you’re probably in the market to add some new pieces to your wardrobe. Hudson’s Bay just launched their spring look book featuring a carefully curated selections of brands to match the most stylish of men’s aesthetic. I’ve recently partnered with the brand to highlight and style a few pieces from their portfolio to give you guys a little style inspiration! Continue Reading…
If you’re a sneaker head then you’re probably familiar with what tomorrow is – and if you’re not i’ll tell you… #AirMaxDay. Tomorrow, all over the globe and on the internet you’ll be sure to see people sporting their favourite Air Max’s, sharing stories and Continue Reading…
Last week was a special one for those in Toronto that work in fashion. Toronto Fashion Week is one of my favourite times of the year in the city, there’s of course the fashion, the events, the networking and most of all the energy! This season I teamed up with canadian brand Rudsak as a social media correspondent to give you guys behind the scene access and exclusive moments via social media. I’ve been a fan of the brand for quite some time now and they’ve really made a name for themselves by consistently providing quality and innovation season after season. The show was great and although I’m amped for Spring + Summer, the runway collection got me excited about shopping for fall coats and leather accessories. Before heading to the show, I got the chance to put a look together featuring this dope lightweight nylon jacket from the brand, called Lamero. I kept the colour palette light to compliment the jacket and wore a pair of burgundy kicks to give the outfit that little extra something! It’s cool, it’s casual, and fun! Continue Reading…
Hi guys, I hope that your week has started off on a good note! My apologies for being MIA last week, I won’t let it happen again unless I have a super amazing reason (and being busy isn’t one of them). I’m obviously going to talk about this dope casual look that I put together but I wanted to send some positive vibes directly to you guys first . Over the last week or so, I’ve been having some very deep conversations with a few of my close friends and taking some time to reflect on how I’ve been feeling lately. Being a Blogger, I share more parts of my life than most people do and by doing so, I open myself up to more people having perceived notions of me, good and bad (which for the most part, I’m cool with). I mentioned in a previous post, the importance of learning not to care too much about what people think and recently I’ve had a few instances where my advice has been tested. I have pretty thick skin and as much as I’ve learned to ignore a lot of things, negative energy and words can still hurt and get under your skin, sometimes. For those moments that you can’t shake it off right away, just remember you’re only responsible for your actions and not those of others. It’s important to have a strong grasp on who you are, where you’re going and to not let negative people get in the way. Think of these experiences like a test, they only get harder the closer you are to your desired destination. I’m sure I’m not the only one that has these days or deals with these type of situations so I just wanted to share a quick reminder to not let them dim your light. They might not want to see you win **Dj Khaled voice** but I sure do! Continue Reading…
Can you guys believe that it’s February already?! Honestly, the way that time is flying by,definitely freaks me out. Which kind of leads me to my point for this blog post. Over the last few months, I’ve learned more & more how valuable time truly is and how important it is, not to waste it. Here are a few things that I’ve been putting into action lately and have seen some pretty stellar results so far.
1. If there’s something that you want to do write it down! By writing your goals down it makes you feel more responsible to follow through with them. Brainstorm ideas, create a plan and put it into action. Trust me when I say, nothing feels more fulfilling than being able to check things off your bucket list.
2. Stop caring about what other people think. This one is much easier said than done, but it’s definitely worth attempting. In the past I’ve let the opinions of others prevent me from doing things that I wanted to do and over time realized that if I’m not hurting anyone and it makes me happy, I’m going to do it! Life is too short to not do the things that you love!
3. Cut out the dead weight in your life! Energy is very contagious and being surrounded by people with negative energy is toxic and draining. Don’t get me wrong, we all have bad days but if every interaction with a ‘friend’ or ‘lover’ leaves you feeling some type of way… it’s time to let them go. It can be hard at first but once it’s done you’ll be thankful that you did.
4. Lastly, trust in yourself and the timing of your life. I’ve shared this with you guys before but I can’t stress how important it is. A lot of us hold super high expectations for ourselves and if we don’t meet those expectations by a specific time frame we get really down. I’ve learned that what’s meant to be, will happen when it’s the right time (in all areas of life). Your sole responsibility is to work hard, have patience, be positive and be ready when the opportunity presents itself.
If you’ve got any tips that you’d like to share with me, give me a shout, I’m always looking to learn new things firstname.lastname@example.org

Hi guys, I hope that life has been treating you well these days. I’m definitely still on a high from my trip to Paris. It’s my third time traveling to this beautiful city and I must admit that every time I visit, I fall more & more in love. I feel like everyone has a place in the world that makes them feel extra special inside, and for me, it’s Paris!
This trip was extra exciting, as it was the first time that I’d be attending shows for Paris Men’s Fashion Week
…which to me, is huge! Paris is legit the fashion capital of the world and to be able to see how things are done over there was definitely a goal of mine personally and professionally. I’ll get more into the shows and all that good stuff in my upcoming post but in the meantime I wanted to share some of my favourite moments and places while away. I decided to switch things up and bring over my Instagram
aesthetic to the blog for this post!
Ps… I just want to say a huge thank you to you guys for your continued support! Honestly, these experiences wouldn’t be possible without my readers and it truly means a lot to me. If there’s anything that you want to see more of, just let me know!
Hey guys, here’s a short style post that I shot last week while working in New York City. One of the things that I love about traveling is the fact that you’re usually forced outside of your comfort zone. It should come as no surprise that my team and I definitely follow a certain pattern or theme when it comes to the content that we create and let’s just say New York didn’t make it easy for us haha! Like I mean, do clean plain walls exist in Soho?! I don’t think so! We shot this look while out exploring the neighbourhood on our first day. I’m really into anything longline right now and I love this longline jacket I recently got from my friends over in Europe. I wore it over a black cape, and a grey sweatshirt with some ripped denim and a fresh pair of high top kicks. Stay tuned for my full NY recap post!
