Hey guys, I hope that you’re all doing well. Can you believe we’re already eleven days into December and I haven’t even started my Christmas shopping yet?!? I just came back from a two-day trip to New York with Adidas that I can’t wait to share but in the meantime I put together a little style post for you guys.
A little over a week ago, the Christian Confidential team had the pleasure of collaborating with Equinox Toronto in putting together an influencer event! I’ve been working with the brand for a year now creating digital content and we felt that it was time to spice things up and do something bigger! We decided to throw an intimate fitness event for some of my friends who happen to dub as some of Toronto’s top male influencers and fitness enthusiasts.
The class that we selected is one that the brand is highly recognized for, STACKED! – led by top fitness instructor Eva Redpath! This class is no joke and is definitely a sweat burner. 45 minutes long 12 different exercises in total, 30 seconds to perform, and 30 seconds to recover… let’s just say you’ll never leave this class feeling like you didn’t get pushed to your limits. A healthy dose of cardio and strength training, STACKED! might have you questioning your decision of taking this class while you’re doing it but once it’s over you’ll be more than happy that you did! This is only one of the numerous classes that Equinox has and with the launch of Equinox Yorkville (coming soon), I can’t wait to host my friends again (and maybe a few of our readers) in 2016.
Until next time,

It’s December 1st and as I sit down and write this travel post, I must say that the last half of this year has truly been a blessed one. One of the things that I love about being a blogger is that it opens doors to opportunities that can sometimes be life changing. Last month I got the opportunity to travel to the island of Tobago and learn a little bit about their lifestyle and fashion.
The great people at Fashion Vanguard invited us down to check out their inaugural fashion buyers exhibition. This exhibition showcased 9 reputable designers with roots from the island.
I, of course had my favourites and gravitated towards more of your staples/essentials from a brand titled I Say U Clothing. It’s cool to see what works in regards to fashion in other parts of the world and it’s even cooler to see the influence of different cultures reflected in the garments. Linen (for it’s breathability, I’m sure) was a common fabric used throughout a lot of the featured designers especially the menswear line, Millhouse. Neoprene, which is one of my favourite materials this year was very well displayed throughout some of the womenswear designers such as, Lush Kingdom. Photography by: Vitina Blumenthal for ChristianConfidential.comAfter taking in all the dope fashion, it was time to get a taste of the Tobago lifestyle. Beautiful weather, friendly people and great food (I tried shark for the first time), I’m not really sure what else I could’ve asked for. We spent some time at Pigeon Point beach, partied at the infamous ‘Shade’ nightclub and relaxed by the pool at our villa. All in all, this was a great experience and Tobago is filled with hidden gems and treasure both in fashion and lifestyle. If you’re looking for a destination to unwind and reflect, Tobago is a destination to consider. A special thank you to everyone that made our stay what it was especially; Jamilia, Karen, Kery & Kevon.
Until next time,
Hey guys, the weekend is finally upon us! If you’ve had a crazy week like I did, it’s time to let loose and turn all the way up! I put together a new style post that I think you guys are going to like. It’s simple, yet fun and oh so dope in my books. Let’s just say it’s a more edgy take on the ‘Canadian Tuxedo’. I grabbed my vintage denim vest, a grey long line sweatshirt, my new favourite pair of light wash denim and my latest kicks from Lacoste, the Showcourt. A classic silhouette from the brand with premium leather and intricate details that make them fairly easy to dress up or down. Naturally, I dressed them down! This is the perfect look if you’re looking for something that’ll give you comfort + style at the same time.

There’s nothing that I love more than travelling, except maybe travelling with close friends! This year has definitely been one for the books. It’s the year that I’ve taken the most risks, rediscovered myself as a single person, and felt the most pressure to make things happen for me professionally! That being said, at the end of last month it was time to put away my laptop and unwind for a few days. My friends, Shayna and Vanessa who have both been working uber hard thought that it would be dope to go on a mini getaway and celebrate life, explore another city and catch some sun. Chosen Destination: Miami Stay: Thompson Miami Beach Our Go-to’s: Soho House, Lincoln Road, Bodega South Beach Breakfast: La Provence Dinner: Cecconi’s Miami Nightlife: LIV on Sunday (obviously)!
The thing that I love about Miami is that it’s like those ‘Choose Your Own Adventure’ books that you used to read when you were a kid. You can do ‘the most’ or as ‘little’ as you’d like and still have a great time. We opted for something in between the two extremes and legit, never had a dull moment! If you’re looking for a quick getaway, I’d move Miami up to the top of your list.
Hey guys, I hope that you’re doing well. Is it just me or is this cold weather getting to anyone else? I tend to usually find the brighter side of every situation but these last few weeks have been rough and I couldn’t figure out why. In general, life has been great; personal, professional, love life (non existent) lol but all in all I can’t complain. So what’s been bothering me? Sigh… the weather, the cold! Born and raised in Canada and I still can’t embrace the cold temperatures, the abundance of snow (it’s coming) and the lack of sunlight that we have to endure. I can very easily want to stay in bed all day, lose motivation & start making bad decisions… eating wise that is! That being said, I’m not one to stay down for long so I’ve slowly but surely started to get back on track. I’ve gone back to making my ‘5 things I’m thankful for’ list in the morning, making sure that I go to the gym (group classes help when you’re lacking motivation) , eating clean, and adding some colour into my wardrobe. Actually, what do you guys think about my mustard yellow sweatshirt? I’m obsessed with it and it’s not black, white or grey! Anyways, I just thought I’d share, incase any of you are going ‘through it’ and weren’t sure why. I’ll be back this week with some travel content, so come back soon and have the best day!
Race season is in full swing and my friends over at Adidas Canada are about to take things to the next level. November 1st at 1:00 am (yes you read it correctly) be prepared to #runmore. The distance is 10k and is open to all levels of runners. It’s daylight savings that night so we’ve got an extra hour and what better way to use it than to get your sweat on. After the run it’s the after-party (in my best Jay Z voice) and it’s going to be LIT! Lights, Dj’s, drinks and the city’s running community all together celebrating! Sounds like a fun night to me. For more information and to register for the race check out their official page here.
If you’re coming here from Instagram, this is the extended version of the video that my team and I shot for the #runmore 10k campaign. We had a lot of fun working on this one so I hope that you guys like it!

Ultra Boost Running Shoe – Adidas
It’s Fashion Week here in Toronto, and in celebration of it my team and I wanted to do something special. We’ve put together a two part street style guide featuring some of my favourite pieces for the season. Within these visual guides, I’ve put together six looks that incorporate my essentials, statement pieces, minimalism, and swag. For me, when I think about what really draws me towards this style of dressing is that it embodies confidence. Not to take anything away from the dapper dudes, but 9 out of 10 guys look great in a suit, but with street style if it’s not done correctly you can very easily look like a hot mess. With street style it’s all about swag, you wear the clothes, don’t let the clothes wear you. I styled my friends (Daniel & Jay) and myself in looks that showcase my take on street style. Fitted joggers, bombers, motto jackets, oversized tees, long line tees and fresh sneakers…sigh, you can’t forget about the sneakers!

If you’ve been following my blog for a while you’ve probably noticed my slight obsession with outerwear. It’s almost as big as my love for sneakers… almost! Picking the right outerwear is really important because ultimately it’s a statement piece that you’ll continuously wear. Think about it, every season you rotate between 2-3 jackets that you wear everywhere. Meaning they’ve got to be versatile, stylish and protect you from the elements. I picked up this peacoat from RW&CO that I think checks off all three boxes. It’ll look good dressed up with some dress pants and a cashmere sweater or dressed down with a pair of dark denim and some casual kicks (like I tend to go for). I could’ve gone for a camel, navy or black jacket but instead I opted for military green, which is very in this season and will help set you apart from others. Lastly, fall weather is super unpredictable and I despise being cold, so make sure to check if you’re jacket has a good lining to help protect you from those low temperature days.
