I got my hands on the new Yeezy’s and obviously I couldn’t wait to style them. The print on these kicks are probably the boldest that I’ve seen from the Kanye West x Adidas Originals collaboration and will definitely be the statement piece of your outfit. That being said, I decided to pair them with some joggers, a hoodie + a navy trench (which in my opinion, totally elevates the look). It’s cozy, it’s casual aka the perfect vibe to kick off the weekend.
If you’ve been following my blog for a while you’ve probably noticed my slight obsession with outerwear. It’s almost as big as my love for sneakers… almost! Picking the right outerwear is really important because ultimately it’s a statement piece that you’ll continuously wear. Think about it, every season you rotate between 2-3 jackets that you wear everywhere. Meaning they’ve got to be versatile, stylish and protect you from the elements. I picked up this peacoat from RW&CO that I think checks off all three boxes. It’ll look good dressed up with some dress pants and a cashmere sweater or dressed down with a pair of dark denim and some casual kicks (like I tend to go for). I could’ve gone for a camel, navy or black jacket but instead I opted for military green, which is very in this season and will help set you apart from others. Lastly, fall weather is super unpredictable and I despise being cold, so make sure to check if you’re jacket has a good lining to help protect you from those low temperature days.
You all know by now that I’m a sneaker freak… and these bad boys right here have become my latest obsession. Minimal, futuristic and somehow make your feet appear smaller than they really are (I’m a size 12). I decided to base my outfit around my Huarache’s aka all black with a touch of white for contrast. If you’re looking for something a bit different, I’d suggest trying a pair. They’re not for everyone and I think they look better on and come in a bunch of different colorways. Until next time guys!

If you live in Toronto, you know that it’s a big weekend in the city. Caribana weekend is full of events, parties and a huge parade that celebrates music, culture and the islands that make up the Caribbean. If you’re partaking in any of the festivities, you might want to check out these limited edition Nike Hyperfr3sh QS sneakers inspired by the carnival spirit. Launched in Canada today, 07.30.15 and available at Capsule Toronto and Livestock these are sure to be a hit. These shoes have so much bite that I decided to keep it simple but clean with a black cut off top and a pair of leather shorts.
Keeping it super preppy yet casual with this style post. A Slim fit polo, khakis and a fresh pair of white Lacoste sneakers always make for a great outfit combination. Growing up my parents use to always dress me in preppy outfits like this and to this day this style is still a go-to for me. Whether you’re going on a first date, grabbing lunch with the boys or simply running around downtown, you’ll look fresh in this fit. If you’re looking for a little twist on the classic white sneakers, check out the ones that I’m wearing - still white but the pop of blue and red detailing give it a little more edge than your typical all-white kicks.

Hi guys, I hope that you all had a great long weekend, I’m back on the blog today with a new style post featuring Canada Goose. As I mentioned in a previous post, I’ve teamed up with the brand to showcase how you can stay stylish yet warm/dry against the elements with their SS15 collection. I have the worst luck when it comes to being caught in the rain. Yesterday, it rained for approximately 20 minutes downtown and without a doubt I happened to be outside during that period. The Jacksons jacket from Canada Goose’s Branta collection will not only keep you dry and warm during those bad weather days, but is also super light and compact. Being a lifestyle blogger, I’m always out exploring the city for cool places to shoot and some days the forecast calls for rain and the fact that this jacket is light and compact makes it super easy to pack into my knapsack and pull it out when I need it. It might sound like a small feature to highlight but for me that’s exactly why this jacket works for my lifestyle. Check out the rest of Canada Goose’s SS15 collection here and let me know which ones you’re into. #AskAnyoneWhoKnows
I’ve been itching to try out a new cocktail especially after the amazing weather we’ve had over the last few days in the city. I love having my friends over and seeing that summer is right around the corner I’ve been looking for a new refreshing, yet simple-ish cocktail to try. In celebration of Cinco de Mayo, my friends over at Casamigos sent over a cool package to test out their rendition of a Tequila Watermelon Margarita. Not too sweet and super refreshing, it makes for the perfect summer cocktail. Below, I’ve included directions and ingredients to D-I-Y (do it yourself)!Ingredients/Measurements: 1/2 part simple syrup | 1 1/2 parts Casamigos Reposado Tequila | 3/4 parts fresh lime juice | 4 parts muddled watermelon | 6-7 mint leavesDirections: Muddle mint leaves & watermelon into a shaker. – Add remaining ingredients to the shaker ( simple syrup, tequila, fresh lime juice). Shake and fine strain over fresh ice in a rocks glass. Use a lime wheel or wedge along with extra mint leaves to garnish. Happy Cinco de Mayo guys!

A few weeks back, I was asked to be featured in the super trendy London based menswear site, The Idle Man. They asked me a bunch of questions related to my sense of style. They were interested in finding out who influences my own personal style and as of lately, Kanye West is that person. Say what you want about him but in terms of edgy everyday street wear his looks are always on point. I always catch myself pulling inspiration from him including this look I put together for this post. This outfit actually features some of my favourite items; my camel car coat, denim on denim and my new suede Lacoste chukka’s. This whole look embodies my aesthetic to a tee. – A mix of street edge (the ripped denim joggers+ kicks) and american prep (car coat + denim jacket). I’m really into these Chukka boots as they’re a little different from my standard shoe choice. – I found that they made a great alternative for this outfit rather than a pair of white low tops. I’m obsessed with suede footwear, (hello my Chelsea Boots!) and I really like the contrast that the white sole and the grey upper portion of the boot have with each other. If you’re into this look, specifically my kicks you can pick them up at what is becoming one of my go-to spots, Town Shoes! What I’m Wearing
