So… these last two weeks have been pretty hectic on my end. I’m not sure if I shared this with you guys before but there’s something going on in the universe right now and I feel like there’s a huge shift that’s going to happen in my life and I’m just trying to prepare for it. I’ve been getting a lot of subtle signs and it’s caused me to be more present in my everyday life, which I tend to struggle with but honestly, I’d be lying if I didn’t admit that I just want this ‘thing’ to happen already (I have the patience of a two-year old sometimes haha)! I’m convinced that it either has something to do with my career path or my love life. I don’t want to assume too much as to what it’s going to be but either way I’m excited for it! Anyways… enough about all of that, let’s talk about this look that I put together over the weekend! I am in love with its simplicity yet how much attention it demands at the same time. Sticking to a pretty simple colour scheme, I wanted to make a bold statement with the pieces that I chose to incorporate within this outfit without being ‘too loud’. I just got this black jacket (not to be mistaken as a bath robe haha) the other day from ASOS and I’m obsessed with it. It’s so cozy and oversized and just plays well with so many pieces. I paired this jacket with a grey hoodie, some black joggers and the ‘zebra’ Yeezy 350 V2’s. This look is totally me at the moment, it’s fun it’s understated yet something you won’t forget. I hope that you guys are into it!

So… I’m not sure if you guys have been noticing but I’ve been really getting into (more than usual) pieces of clothing that promote movement and flow. Wether it’s loose fitting joggers, long-line jackets or oversized hoodies, I love the theatrics that these items can create. Under the artistic direction of Christophe Lemaire, Uniqlo recently launched their second #UniqloU collection and let’s just say they’ve mastered that whole aesthetic. If you’re coming to the blog from social media, you probably saw me playing with this look amongst a few others during a fitting I had with the brands Canadian counterpart. With your guys help via Insta-Story (thank you xox) I narrowed down my favourite pieces from the collection to create this look! From the joggers, to the hoodie, to the coat, these are all dope items that can be easily integrated into my current wardrobe or worn all together like this. I’m pretty happy with the end results, check out a few more pics below and let me know what you think!

Even though there’s currently some snow on the ground in Toronto, it’s time to start thinking about adding some new items to our wardrobe for spring! For the majority of 2017, I’ve been all over the whole athleisure look and I definitely foresee it continuing. I’ve been doing a lot of browsing on the internet lately and putting together some style boards to get a better sense of what I’ll need to buy to start the season off right, which I’ll share with you guys at a later date. That being said, I recently learned about a newly launched line of sneakers from my friends over at ECCO Canada called ECCO Mens Cool 2.0 GTX Textile, that I was pretty amped to test out! Two main features about these shoes that make it a perfect spring option is that it’s waterproof and its breathability. You guys know me, so… as important as key features are to me, a good sneaker has to also hold its own within the style department as well. I got my hands on a pair of the all-white C00l 2.0’s and put them to the test by pairing them with this monochrome look. A basic oversized hoodie, a long-line tank, some track pants and high knee socks! I think they paired pretty well, don’t you?

Hi bb’s – I swear it feels like every other entry I write on here, it’s fashion week somewhere in the world haha! Although it’s currently Ready To Wear in Paris, I’m excited to be covering a few things for Toronto Men’s Fashion Week (TOM), which kicks off today! Tonight, I’ll be heading over to the tents to check out canadian designers Hip and Bone and Kollar Clothing! Both brands are known for their street style aesthetic so I’m amped to see what they’ve got in store for F/W 17. If you’re heading over to the tents tonight, catch me outside in this look! I just got this cream long-line bomber and I’m currently obsessed with it. I’m going for a more understated but cool vibe today, just because that’s the mood that I’m in!

Hi bb’s – has anyone else felt the effects of this new moon solar eclipse yet?! Right now (knock on wood), I’ve been feeling much more motivated and focused on the right things (finally) and I’m hoping that it stays that way! Anyways, I shot this look over the weekend that I can’t get enough of. I’m not going to lie, it’s pretty simple, yet has a little bit of edge aka perfect for me. I posted one of these photos on Instagram and a lot of you guys loved the oversized jacket…well it’s from COS and it’s actually from the women’s collection. Clearly it’s one of those gender neutral pieces that looks good on everyone, so don’t be afraid of it! I paired it with a distressed jumper, Tech Fleece joggers and my Saint Laurent Court Classic High-Top sneakers!
I got my hands on the new Yeezy’s and obviously I couldn’t wait to style them. The print on these kicks are probably the boldest that I’ve seen from the Kanye West x Adidas Originals collaboration and will definitely be the statement piece of your outfit. That being said, I decided to pair them with some joggers, a hoodie + a navy trench (which in my opinion, totally elevates the look). It’s cozy, it’s casual aka the perfect vibe to kick off the weekend.
One of the things that I love most about having a blog is being able to look back at photos (old or recent) and relive the moments all over again! I’m currently laying in bed while I write this post and I’m remembering how cold it was last week in New York and the lengths that we went through to get a few of these shots. Contrary to what you see in these photos, there was so much snow around and my photographer and I managed to find this little corner near our hotel, to shoot this look before we headed to Club Monaco‘s presentation for NYFW. The hustle and bustle of this city even in the boroughs (Upper West Side) is so real, it just gets you in the zone of thinking you can accomplish anything. It’s really crazy because even though I was out there working, I swear I was having the best time. If this trip has taught me anything in life, it’s that sometimes you just have to take life into your own hands. If you’re passionate about something, don’t just follow it, chase it down! When you do, the Universe will work with you to make things happen.
As I’ve mentioned before I’ve been pretty committed to my street wear aesthetic and post was no exception. This look is to the point with some edge aka the perfect combo for the streets of New York.

Hi guys, so I’m finally back from a whirlwind of a week in New York. I’m currently working on a new project that coincidentally started filming during NYFW, which made this experience way cooler but a little more stressful haha! I can’t wait until I’m able to share more details about this project but just to give you guys a little heads up you’ll be getting to see me in a totally different light than you may be used to!
That being said, let’s get into this sh-look that I put together for the Lacoste FW17 runway show. This look was totally inspired by a previous outfit that I wore during Men’s Fashion Week in Paris last month. I was so in love with the effect that the pop of red gave in that look that I had to get the same serrated jacket in blue. The Lacoste show took place pretty early on a saturday morning so this was the perfect cozy yet stylish look for me to wear. I hope you guys are into it!

So, I’m back in Toronto after a whirlwind of fun during Men’s Fashion Week in Paris and yes – still blonde. I’ve been having a lot of fun with it, I think I may keep it for a while longer. It’s still unbearably cold here (I’m a little dramatic, I know), so I put this cozy look together that I hope that you guys will like. I’ve been really into colour lately, like REALLY into it as you can probably see from this outfit. In my opinion, my coral sweatshirt gives this street look more life as opposed to a more muted colour alternative. It might not be for everyone but right now it’s definitely doing it for me.
