Last season during Paris Fashion Week I went for a total euro-vibe but this time around I wanted to do something a little more street. For the shows and presentations, I’ve been styling my outfits with more colour, oversized pieces and a little more edge. Today, I decided to go for something a little more casual and on the retro side. I’m totally obsessed with this look and I hope that you guys like it too!
Even though it’s super cold over here, the energy around the city is so lit and I’m having the best time! I’m off to grab a bite at Hôtel Costes and see where the night takes me (hopefully, I’ll have a story for you tomorrow)!
Three weeks into 2017 and I’m in Paris for Men’s Fashion Week – I really can’t complain! I absolutely love this city, it’s edge and style just completely moves me. I’m not sure if you noticed but recently, I decided to go BLONDE! I’ve wanted to try this for a while now and finally just said fuck it, lets just do it! I had to find the right outfit to debut it and I think this whole look came together perfectly! I decided to pair my new red serrated jacket with a comfy oversized sweatshirt, a pair of wide leg joggers, some high knee socks and some fresh X_PLR’s to complete the look. I hope that you guys are into it as much as I am! Now let’s see how much trouble I can get into over here haha!
Hi bb’s – I hope that 2017 is off to a great start for ya! It’s crazy to me how time just keeps flying by, I can barely keep up haha! I promised myself that this year, I’m going to continue to push boundaries in all areas of my life especially the blog. I have this rule that I placed on myself that doesn’t allow me to do the same thing that I did last year unless it’s done on a bigger scale. That being said, this year will be no exception, I really want to do dope shit and challenge myself to continuously grow creatively. I’ve got a few tricks up my sleeve that I’m excited and nervous to share with you guys within the upcoming months, so be patient with me.
Also, I wanna just say a huge thank you to you all for continuing to stick by me! Nowadays EVERYONE is an influencer or blogger or whatever you wanna call me, and I hope that you guys know that I appreciate each and every one of you – let’s live out our dreams this year!
One of the questions that I get asked the most in regards to my blog, is usually around the subject of how do I create my content. It varies from; does a photographer follow me around all day? How much time does it take to produce content? Where do I find all of these white walls? -that question is definitely my favourite haha!
My team and I were brainstorming ideas for our latest collaboration with Adidas Canada and we decided to build the video content as a ‘making of’ clip to give my readers a glimpse into what happens behind-the-scenes. Trust me, not all projects that we work on, require a set, or have hair & make up or the best lighting but when we get the chance to shoot in a studio, this is pretty much what it tends to looks like.
I told you guys earlier in the year that I got a chance to sit down and preview what Adidas Originals had coming down the pipeline for 2016 and this specific drop of the Tubular Doom, was one of the releases that I was most excited for! There’s something about the futuristic aesthetic that the Tubular family has that really resonates with me. It could be that they’re super clean, have a minimal silhouette, are very comfortable and are usually a conversation starter a.k.a everything that I look for in my sneakers haha! – To me, these kicks are in a league of their own!
I went for a monochromatic/minimal look to compliment the shoes + the set location. I played off the sneakers with all of my looks in the video and went with an predominantly all-white outfit for the final images – which I think helped in bringing the futuristic vision that I had in my head to life.
My team and I had so much fun working on this project, so I hope that you guys like it! If you’re looking for a last minute gift idea for the fashion forward, street style obsessed guy in your life, the Tubular Doom are a good option – see more here!
Guys… did you miss me?! I’m going to just assume that the answer is a hell yes and get straight to the goods. I’m obsessed with this minimal fall/winter look that I put together the other day. It’s clean, it’s edgy and minus the exposed areas around the knees, it will actually keep you pretty warm this season. Recently, I picked up this asymmetrical faux-shearling coat from Armani Exchange and I can’t get enough of it! I think it really brings the whole look together quite nicely making it the statement piece of the outfit. This is a look that can be worn to a lunch meeting and easily be dope enough to wear for some evening cocktails (minus the tuque).
Hi bb’s – I recently collaborated with the popular UK brand AllSaints on a cool social media campaign that I wanted to share with ya! If you’re familiar with the brand you know that they’re notoriously known for their outerwear and minimal + monochromatic aesthetic. The campaign is all about highlighting one of this seasons most coveted item, the biker jacket! I’m the biggest sucker for a dope biker jacket and their Takeo Suede Biker had my name written all over it! It’s light, it’s suede and offered in a colorway (anthracite grey) that totally meshes with my personal style. Here are the images that I shot for the campaign, I hope you guys like them!
Hi guys – So I’m back tonight with a nuuuu style post! I’ve actually been shooting quite a bit of content that I can’t wait to share with you all! It’s crazy because when fall usually arrives and the temperature starts to drop, it usually takes the MOST out of me to get outside but thankfully we’ve been having some good weather in Toronto! Anyways, back to this look – I’m really into it! I’m wearing a new hoodie from my friends over atBALR. that I paired with some loose distressed denim, a nude long line bomber & some white sneakers. It’s cool, it’s cozy aka the perfect fit for fall!
It’s been a while since I’ve shared a new style post (forgive me), so hopefully you guys like this one! I hosted a cocktail party for Armani Exchange the other week and put this look together, incorporating items from their latest a/w collection. I decided to go the whole winter-white route for my top and bottoms, while adding a pop of subtle colour with my footwear (I told you guys, you’d see these boots a lot haha). This look really does it for me, it’s not something I’d wear everyday (I’m the worst at keeping my whites clean) but it’s definitely a look I’d wear on a special occasion!
Ps. To all those that came out to hang out with me that evening, thank you!
Hi guys, I’ve got a new style post for you… well, kind of. I’ve shot this jumpsuit before but I love it, so I think it’s okay that it gets another moment on the blog. This time around, I wanted to be more bold with my footwear and decided to pair this look with a more retro sneaker. If you’re in the mood to stand out from the crowd but still give off a casual vibe, I’d recommend something like this. If the jumpsuit alone doesn’t differentiate you from the other guys on the street, the added pop of colour from these sneakers will! It’s cool, it’s comfortable and a little different. You’d probably catch me wearing a look like this for brunch or at a casual dinner downtown (aka every other weekend haha)! If you’re into these sneakers, they’re actually the latest release from the J.Crew + New Balance collaboration, you can pick them up here.
