Hi guys, I’m back on the blog today with a look that I’m totally obsessed with. It’s super casual, super cozy but at the same time definitely a conversation starter. Maybe it’s the shoes, maybe it’s the joggers or maybe it’s the outfit altogether but I’ve received a lot of compliments on it. I decided to debut the new Yeezy Boost 350 V2‘s in cream white, (which dropped last saturday) with this look! These kicks are definitely in my top 3 from all of Kanye’s shoe drops with Adidas and our the perfect shoe for summer 2017. The cream white colorway gives these kicks an even more minimal + futuristic vibe than the other V2’s which is definitely my speed. I’m giving you guys a heads up, you’ll definitely be seeing these pop up more than a few times in my outfits over the summer haha!
So… I’m not sure if you guys have been noticing but I’ve been really getting into (more than usual) pieces of clothing that promote movement and flow. Wether it’s loose fitting joggers, long-line jackets or oversized hoodies, I love the theatrics that these items can create. Under the artistic direction of Christophe Lemaire, Uniqlo recently launched their second #UniqloU collection and let’s just say they’ve mastered that whole aesthetic. If you’re coming to the blog from social media, you probably saw me playing with this look amongst a few others during a fitting I had with the brands Canadian counterpart. With your guys help via Insta-Story(thank you xox) I narrowed down my favourite pieces from the collection to create this look! From the joggers, to the hoodie, to the coat, these are all dope items that can be easily integrated into my current wardrobe or worn all together like this. I’m pretty happy with the end results, check out a few more pics below and let me know what you think!
Hi bb’s – I swear it feels like every other entry I write on here, it’s fashion week somewhere in the world haha! Although it’s currently Ready To Wear in Paris, I’m excited to be covering a few things for Toronto Men’s Fashion Week (TOM), which kicks off today! Tonight, I’ll be heading over to the tents to check out canadian designers Hip and Bone and Kollar Clothing! Both brands are known for their street style aesthetic so I’m amped to see what they’ve got in store for F/W 17. If you’re heading over to the tents tonight, catch me outside in this look! I just got this cream long-line bomber and I’m currently obsessed with it. I’m going for a more understated but cool vibe today, just because that’s the mood that I’m in!
Last season during Paris Fashion Week I went for a total euro-vibe but this time around I wanted to do something a little more street. For the shows and presentations, I’ve been styling my outfits with more colour, oversized pieces and a little more edge. Today, I decided to go for something a little more casual and on the retro side. I’m totally obsessed with this look and I hope that you guys like it too!
Even though it’s super cold over here, the energy around the city is so lit and I’m having the best time! I’m off to grab a bite at Hôtel Costes and see where the night takes me (hopefully, I’ll have a story for you tomorrow)!
Three weeks into 2017 and I’m in Paris for Men’s Fashion Week – I really can’t complain! I absolutely love this city, it’s edge and style just completely moves me. I’m not sure if you noticed but recently, I decided to go BLONDE! I’ve wanted to try this for a while now and finally just said fuck it, lets just do it! I had to find the right outfit to debut it and I think this whole look came together perfectly! I decided to pair my new red serrated jacket with a comfy oversized sweatshirt, a pair of wide leg joggers, some high knee socks and some fresh X_PLR’s to complete the look. I hope that you guys are into it as much as I am! Now let’s see how much trouble I can get into over here haha!
One of the questions that I get asked the most in regards to my blog, is usually around the subject of how do I create my content. It varies from; does a photographer follow me around all day? How much time does it take to produce content? Where do I find all of these white walls? -that question is definitely my favourite haha!
My team and I were brainstorming ideas for our latest collaboration with Adidas Canada and we decided to build the video content as a ‘making of’ clip to give my readers a glimpse into what happens behind-the-scenes. Trust me, not all projects that we work on, require a set, or have hair & make up or the best lighting but when we get the chance to shoot in a studio, this is pretty much what it tends to looks like.
I told you guys earlier in the year that I got a chance to sit down and preview what Adidas Originals had coming down the pipeline for 2016 and this specific drop of the Tubular Doom, was one of the releases that I was most excited for! There’s something about the futuristic aesthetic that the Tubular family has that really resonates with me. It could be that they’re super clean, have a minimal silhouette, are very comfortable and are usually a conversation starter a.k.a everything that I look for in my sneakers haha! – To me, these kicks are in a league of their own!
I went for a monochromatic/minimal look to compliment the shoes + the set location. I played off the sneakers with all of my looks in the video and went with an predominantly all-white outfit for the final images – which I think helped in bringing the futuristic vision that I had in my head to life.
My team and I had so much fun working on this project, so I hope that you guys like it! If you’re looking for a last minute gift idea for the fashion forward, street style obsessed guy in your life, the Tubular Doom are a good option – see more here!
I’ve got a short #OOTD post for you guys, that I think you’ll love! I’ve been really into track suits lately, and this is my latest purchase from Adidas – obviously! It’s one of the latest drops from their fall collection that I’m really feeling. I decided to keep the styling to a minimal and paired the suit with a white tank, some sneakers and a baseball cap. I’d rock this look on one of my many “I just wanna be comfortable days” while doing errands or meeting up with friends!
If there’s anything that I love, it’s the release of a dope sneaker! As part of my collaboration series with Adidas Originals, the Adidas EQT Support ADV’s were a drop that I was really excited for. Taking inspiration from the past and revamping the look with a primeknit upper, these kicks are a total win. When it came to styling my outfit, I opted to keep it simple and have the sneakers be my statement piece. Clean, minimal, with a futuristic flair, you can’t go wrong with having these in your closet!
My buddy Sean from Tin Mantra Motion Pictures and I shot a little fashion video featuring some of my favourite pieces at the moment all styled with the EQT’s. Check it out below and let me know what you think! Ps. they’re also available in an all white & all black colourway that can be found on adidas.ca.
It’s been a while since I’ve last been in New York and oh gosh, I really did miss it! It’s weird because New York never really comes to mind as a travel destination for me (I’m more of a beach guy) but every time I make it back out here, I’m always happy that I did. This is definitely less of a pleasure trip, as it’s Fashion Week here but it’s important to make a little time for play right?? Yesterday, I spent most of the day in Soho and shot this cozy look. It’s totally me right now, oversized, casual & comfy! I hope you’re into it as much as I am!
