Hi guys – I hope that you all had a great weekend! For me, I feel like it came and went so quickly but that’s usually how I feel when I’m having a lot of fun. Last weekend was pretty busy with personal stuff and events but I still managed to shoot a style post. This look is giving me total retro + weekend vibes. It’s definitely not going to be for everyone but it works for me and hopefully some of you fashion risk takers! I decided to pair some denim overalls with an oversized hoodie, some high socks and the new Puma Tsugi Shinsei sneakers. It’s cozy, there’s a pop of colour and totally something I feel comfortable and confident in!
Even though there’s currently some snow on the ground in Toronto, it’s time to start thinking about adding some new items to our wardrobe for spring! For the majority of 2017, I’ve been all over the whole athleisure look and I definitely foresee it continuing. I’ve been doing a lot of browsing on the internet lately and putting together some style boards to get a better sense of what I’ll need to buy to start the season off right, which I’ll share with you guys at a later date. That being said, I recently learned about a newly launched line of sneakers from my friends over at ECCO Canada called ECCO Mens Cool 2.0 GTX Textile, that I was pretty amped to test out! Two main features about these shoes that make it a perfect spring option is that it’s waterproof and its breathability. You guys know me, so… as important as key features are to me, a good sneaker has to also hold its own within the style department as well. I got my hands on a pair of the all-white C00l 2.0’s and put them to the test by pairing them with this monochrome look. A basic oversized hoodie, a long-line tank, some track pants and high knee socks! I think they paired pretty well, don’t you?

Hi bb’s – I hope that 2017 is off to a great start for ya! It’s crazy to me how time just keeps flying by, I can barely keep up haha! I promised myself that this year, I’m going to continue to push boundaries in all areas of my life especially the blog. I have this rule that I placed on myself that doesn’t allow me to do the same thing that I did last year unless it’s done on a bigger scale. That being said, this year will be no exception, I really want to do dope shit and challenge myself to continuously grow creatively. I’ve got a few tricks up my sleeve that I’m excited and nervous to share with you guys within the upcoming months, so be patient with me.
Also, I wanna just say a huge thank you to you all for continuing to stick by me! Nowadays EVERYONE is an influencer or blogger or whatever you wanna call me, and I hope that you guys know that I appreciate each and every one of you – let’s live out our dreams this year!
What I’m Wearing
It’s been a while since I’ve shared a new style post (forgive me), so hopefully you guys like this one! I hosted a cocktail party for Armani Exchange the other week and put this look together, incorporating items from their latest a/w collection. I decided to go the whole winter-white route for my top and bottoms, while adding a pop of subtle colour with my footwear (I told you guys, you’d see these boots a lot haha). This look really does it for me, it’s not something I’d wear everyday (I’m the worst at keeping my whites clean) but it’s definitely a look I’d wear on a special occasion!
Ps. To all those that came out to hang out with me that evening, thank you!
What I’m Wearing
Last week, I had the chance to attend and co-host the #ClarksMashup big reveal. The anticipation for this event has been making a lot of buzz on social media over the last couple of months and here’s why. Clarks had a cool idea to bring together creatives from all over Toronto to create art installations, embracing both old school craftsmanship and new world technology. This concept was inspired by the brands’ Trigenic line of shoes, which embraces the same mantra.
Over the last couple of months, each group of creatives has been working to find ways to bridge the gap and create something cool to present at the reveal. Fast forward to last week and here we are. A group of media and industry professionals met on Queen Street West at a boutique called, Gravity Pope. After being decked out in different colours of Trigenics, we were off on the Clarks Mashup Crawl! At each stop, the group was introduced to the artists followed by a brief description of the story behind their installation.
My group was the second stop on the crawl and oh boy, did they ever do a great job (not that I was surprised)! Shaz, Amir & Simon found a way to illustrate the best of both worlds with their installation. Embracing Shaz’s woodworking skills to create something tangible, while integrating Amir and Simon’s ability to manipulate light to create a show around it. The audience was definitely impressed by their work along with the other two groups.
We ended the night off back at Gravity Pope where the ‘Mashup’ theme continued with options of infused cocktails, music and great conversations! All in all, I would have to say the night was a success!
It was great to see an influential brand like Clarks push an initiative like this! The concept was something creative and out of the box – which is what truly attracted me to this project! It was a pleasure being a part of this experience and allowed me to meet some really cool people and learn a thing or two. To learn more about Clarks and their Trigenic line you should click here!
Until next time,
If there’s anything that I love, it’s the release of a dope sneaker! As part of my collaboration series with Adidas Originals, the Adidas EQT Support ADV’s were a drop that I was really excited for. Taking inspiration from the past and revamping the look with a primeknit upper, these kicks are a total win. When it came to styling my outfit, I opted to keep it simple and have the sneakers be my statement piece. Clean, minimal, with a futuristic flair, you can’t go wrong with having these in your closet!
My buddy Sean from Tin Mantra Motion Pictures and I shot a little fashion video featuring some of my favourite pieces at the moment all styled with the EQT’s. Check it out below and let me know what you think! Ps. they’re also available in an all white & all black colourway that can be found on adidas.ca.

What I’m Wearing
Recently, I’ve noticed that I’ve been drawn to anything and everything with a bit of a dramatic flare to it! What I mean by that is, oversized tops, long-length jackets and wide leg pants (not to be confused with wide leg denim YUCK haha). I put this look together right after planning a future trip to New York and I think that’s where the grungy, yet hipster influence came from. I went with a neutral colour scheme and used accessories (boots + tuque) to give it some personality. I have a love/hate relationship with Dr. Martens, I can’t wear them everyday (sometimes they make my feet look too BIG) but with the right outfit they’re mad dope – I hope you guys are into it!
What I’m Wearing
I’m back today with a casual style post that I’m sure you guys will be in to. It’s actually crazy to see how much Kanye West has been able to inspire street culture in such a short amount of time. Love him or hate him (I love him, obviously), you can’t deny his style influence. This look was definitely inspired by him, from the colour palette, to the fit, it’s vey Yeezy-esque. I grabbed this sweatshirt and joggers from Zara during a sale, the other day. I see myself playing with these tones in the fall, so to me, they were good purchases. I decided to pair them with my beige Tubulars from Adidas and a cap from Project X Paris. You’ll catch me in an outfit like this while running errands, doing stylist pulls or having a cozy day with friends.
What I’m Wearing
Hi guys, so I’m really into this look that I put together for a project that I styled for Puma. It’s clean, it’s comfortable and very true to my style. For me, it’s all about finding subtle ways to differentiate yourself from others without being over the top. I think that’s why I love overalls, to some people it’s a lot but opting for a pair in black can bring it down a notch and has definitely become a go-to for me. I paired these overalls with a striped neoprene tee from DOPE and my new Puma suedes – I hope you guys like it!
