So, I really made the most of my time while in New York and even got a chance to shoot some street style content for the blog. This is a look that I put together, incorporating a trend that came up a lot during Men’s Week (New York, London, Milan & Paris) – lace shirts and blazers. The moment that I saw ASAP Rocky sporting this trend, I was on the hunt for the perfect rendition to style my own way. I decided to dress up the trend this time with some wide-leg trousers, statement sunglasses and my signature harness boots.
I’m really happy with the way this look turned out, it’s definitely not going to be for everyone but for the fashion forward thinking guy, I’d suggest giving it a shot!
If you’ve been a long time reader of my blog, then you know to expect a photo diary (almost), every time that I travel. I love creating these type of posts because, it allows me to relive my travels whenever I want and also encourages me to seek beautiful moments wherever I am.
Sigh, where do I even begin.. I love New York and this trip really made me realize how much I’ve missed it! It’s honestly one of those cities that awakens me no matter what season, reason for visiting or the length of time I’m there. As I mentioned in my previous post, I was visiting New York for World Pride with Mastercard, which was such a cool experience on its own. Even though this was a work trip, I did have some free time to explore the city, eat some good food and do a little bit of partying!
As always, I snapped a few photos along the way and have linked some of my favourite places I visited throughout this trip.
A lot of changes have been happening (AGAIN haha) in my life and I’ll be back to share them with you shortly! Honestly, 2019 has been the year of change for me and although it hasn’t always been pretty, I finally feel like something amazing is on the horizon for me. If any of you guys are dealing with uncertainty or having a difficult time adjusting to change, just know that it’s only temporary and if you hold on a little longer you’ll get through it and be better for it!

So, this will be my last street style post from my New York trip! I am all caught up and ready for my next adventure, which happens to be, this weekend! I’m heading to New Orleans for the first time and I’m hella excited. It’s crazy because I think the part that gets me the most excited is the fact that I have no clue what to expect! I haven’t traveled somewhere new since Los Angeles in October (so nuts). As always, I’ll be documenting my trip for you guys so you’ll hear all about it (good or bad) haha!
Anyways, back to this look. I really like the way this outfit came together. The sneakers make it casual, yet the jacket gives it a more luxe vibe all at the same time. If I were to go on a lunch date in Soho, I would say this would be my perfect outfit!

I’ll never turn down a chance to visit New York and I’ll never visit New York without spending at least a day in Soho. There’s something about this area that really resonates with me and I wouldn’t have it any other way. The architecture, the colour palette, the boutiques, the cafés, the restaurants, I just can’t get enough!
I was in a mood this day and felt like dressing a little different than my usual ensembles. I got these plaid pants from H&M before heading to New York and thought that this would be the perfect opportunity to break them in. I love the way that the outfit came together and Soho made for the perfect back drop to capture these photos – I hope that you guys enjoy them!

New York Fashion Week… (sigh) where do I even begin? I told you guys that I was originally set to be in New York for a cool project that I was filming that coincided with Fashion Week (Women’s). I decided to extend my stay in the city to explore, shop and see a few more shows + presentations. I’ve only been to Fashion Week in New York once before which was a lot of fun but this time around the whole experience was kicked up to another level.
One thing that I’ve learned when it comes to traveling + work is that, it’s so important to have a great team with you and good friends (Shayna, Sean, Jay + Vanessa) – it really makes the experience so much better! From attending shows, to shooting street style, to presentations + appointments, late dinners to the after parties… there was never a dull moment.
As always, I had my camera with me + iPhone 7 (the camera changed my life, review coming shortly) documenting as much of my time away as I could. Keep scrolling down to see some of my favourite moments.
Shows + Presentations included in this post:
Club Monaco, Lacoste, Nina Tiari, J.Crew, Vivienne Tam, Chanel
New York – the city that never sleeps… isn’t that the truth! About two weeks ago, I came back from my first NYFW experience – which was L-I-T! New York is a lot of fun anytime of the year but add in the chaos that is Fashion Week and everything is brought to another level! From attending shows, to meetings with brands, to the after parties, there was barely any time to sleep (thank God for eye cream haha). I spent a lot of time in Soho, which has become my new favourite day time hang out (sorry Park Ave) and the Meatpacking district at night… Le Bain anyone? I put together a list of places that I’d recommend checking out, the next time you’re in New York & snapped a few pics to share with you guys!
To Eat: Mr. Chow – for the food , Tao – for the atmosphere , Jack’s Wife Freda – for brunch, Freds Madison Avenue – a quick bite + drink post shopping!
To Lounge: NOMO Soho – I love everything about this place, I always have the best time there! Le Bain – They have a jacuzzi by the dance floor that people ACTUALLY use and the view from their rooftop is vibes!
To Party: Electric Room, Up & Down, The Box – it might be a lot for some people but it’s so much fun!
To Shop: Barney’s - retail heaven, Nike Lab – for my swoosh obsessed folks, Opening Ceremony – If you’re street style obsessed, this is a must!
Until next time,
It’s been a while since I’ve last been in New York and oh gosh, I really did miss it! It’s weird because New York never really comes to mind as a travel destination for me (I’m more of a beach guy) but every time I make it back out here, I’m always happy that I did. This is definitely less of a pleasure trip, as it’s Fashion Week here but it’s important to make a little time for play right?? Yesterday, I spent most of the day in Soho and shot this cozy look. It’s totally me right now, oversized, casual & comfy! I hope you’re into it as much as I am!

Hey guys, here’s a short style post that I shot last week while working in New York City. One of the things that I love about traveling is the fact that you’re usually forced outside of your comfort zone. It should come as no surprise that my team and I definitely follow a certain pattern or theme when it comes to the content that we create and let’s just say New York didn’t make it easy for us haha! Like I mean, do clean plain walls exist in Soho?! I don’t think so! We shot this look while out exploring the neighbourhood on our first day. I’m really into anything longline right now and I love this longline jacket I recently got from my friends over in Europe. I wore it over a black cape, and a grey sweatshirt with some ripped denim and a fresh pair of high top kicks. Stay tuned for my full NY recap post!
