LOVE UNITES Pride Campaign – Adidas Canada

Hi angels – I hope that the month of June has been really good to you! I’m back on the blog today to share a cool campaign that I had the pleasure of being apart of.

I got the chance to work with my Adidas Canada family on the launch of their 2021 Pride collection – Love Unites! I’ve worked with the brand in the past around Paris Men’s Fashion Week, Adidas Originals and Adidas Running launches, but this was a first for Pride.

Once I learned about the messaging of the campaign and seeing the collection, I knew that I wanted to be apart of it. The campaign is all about love – loving yourself, loving your peers for who they are, the freedom to love whoever you choose, and uniting over sports and creativity.

This is a message that I stand behind and in all honesty something that I needed to hear growing up. I really do hope that by creating these types of campaigns, and increasing representation in all forms of media that the next generation are not only able but encouraged to truly be themselves!

For the love of sport, and the love of love!

Living In The Moment With Olay Regenerist Whip SPF25

This post is sponsored by Olay Canada but all opinions within are my own.

So, warm weather has finally decided to make an appearance in Canada and hopefully that means that it’s here to stay. I don’t know about you but after the year that we’ve had, I plan on taking full advantage of the beautiful weather for as long as I can.

That being said, although I know that the use of sunscreen is important all year round (even when it’s cloudy), I recently made it my mission to find the perfect SPF to compliment my skincare regimen.

Olay Regenerist Whip SPF25 has become the newest addition to my skincare line up and I’ll share with you a few reasons why…

I’ve had problematic skin in the past and have sensitive skin overall. I tend to be very selective about the products that I use and I only add items that elevate my skin – Olay Regenerist Whip SPF25 does just that!

The Active Rush Technology used to create the Whip SPF25 allows for the creamy lightweight texture to transform into liquid on your skin effortlessly. Which makes it easy to absorb without clogging your pores and leaving that grey or greasy film (yuck) that some sunscreens do.

Olay Regenerist Whip SPF25 not only acts as a sunscreen but can be used as a moisturizer as well – basically a 2-in-1! So, not only does it protect your skin from UV rays, it also hydrates and moisturizes your skin at the same time. Personally, I enjoy this feature for the days that I’m in a rush or when I have to get ready outside of the house – as it’s time efficient and cuts back on the products I have to carry.

I also really like the fact that the technology used within Olay Regenerist Whip SPF25 was created with an anti-aging formula in mind. This formula helps with reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, which you all know that I’m trying to hold onto my youth for as long as I possibly can (lol).

Overall, I like to live my life as freely as I can and I love knowing that the products that I’m choosing to use are continuously working for me. That reassurance that I’m not only protecting my skin but nurturing it by using Olay Regenerist Whip SPF25 allows me to live a little more in the moment and to me that’s priceless!

Gemini Season

Hi bb’s – did you miss me?! I missed y’all so much. I was doing so well with my blog updates and then life got a little wild (lol)… but I’m back and it’s Gemini season!

I’m acting like Gemini season moves slow, when in reality it’s when things really start to ramp up. Between social media content, my social life and this new venture I’ve been working on, oh and my birthday, it’s going to be a high energy month! Daddy misses the hustle and bustle though haha.

So, I’m still in Vancouver and I’m finally getting used to it. Toronto will always be home and I’ll definitely be going back, it’s just when is the question?!?! I miss my friends, and the city vibe but from what I’ve been hearing, it’s going to be awhile until things are back to normal.

Anyways, I wanted to share this cute look that I shot over the weekend. Just a heads up, you’re going to see a lot of cropped tops this season, it’s just the wave that I’m on. I love this look, it’s relaxed, it’s athletic but it’s put together. This is a run errands fit or a casual meet up with friends kind of vibe – I hope you like it!

West Coast Diary

So, you know the saying ‘when you make a plan, God laughs’ I feel like that’s been my life for the last year and a bit. Like most of you, I had v big plans for 2020 (like, life changing BIG) and then covid happened and everything fell apart.

I was emotional, lost and not sure how to process everything. It felt like my life was unraveling right in front of my eyes and there was nothing I could do about it. I’m a low key planner (I know, odd for a Gemini) and I’m not one to play the victim role. My entire life, I have always found a way but with all of the restrictions and health concerns that covid brought, I really couldn’t think of a way to pivot.

Long story short, I hit a very low point, to which I decided to stop trying to control things that were out of my control and to start listening attentively to the Universe.

Fast forward to 2021 and I’ve ended up magically on the west coast of Canada – Vancouver, BC to be exact. I won’t go into details yet, but just know that it’s beautiful here, very different from Toronto but beautiful none the less.

I’ve been taking some time to just take in everything that this city has to offer (nature included, who am I?!?!) and finding + rebuilding myself.

After being in Toronto, which is one of the most locked down places in North America, it feels good to be able to have some normalcy back in my life (Vancouver is still taking precautions with covid but the restrictions are a lot less strict).

I’m going to come back to this in another post but we’re going to pause this topic for now until I’m able to share the rest with you at a later date!

So, that being said. You guys know that I LOVE me a travel diary, so doing one (or more) for Vancouver is a must! My girl Jaime, happens to be here as well so we’ve been making the most of our time, exploring and getting to know the city.

As always, I’ve snapped some pics along the way for you. Some street style, scenery, eats + everything in between – I hope you like it!

Long Weekend Vibes

Spring is here and I’m all over it! It feels SO good, to be outside in warm weather and taking in, the beautiful scenery that Vancouver has to offer.

Let’s not get it twisted, I’m still and will always be a city boy but I can definitely get used to these beautiful views.

Life is very interesting at the moment and there’s so many things unfolding and I’m just so grateful. I hope that you guys had a great long weekend and that your heart is full with love.

[ABOUT THE FIT] Sometimes you just have to keep your look simple. A pair of classic Levi’s, a fitted lavender muscle top with some white sneakers just do it for me – I hope they do it for you too!

Aries Energy

Now don’t get confused with the title of this post. I’m a Gemini x 2 (sun + rising) with a Sagittarius moon but I’ve got to show love to Aries season cuz it always feels like the season that things finally start to pick up speed – and I’m here for it!

I told you guys last time that I’m in the process of making changes in my life (professional + personal) and I’m almost ready to share them with you guys… but not just yet. There’s a few things that just need to be ironed out but we’re almost there and I’m very excited about this new journey I’m about to venture on.

It’s been a while since Ive been this excited and nervous so I’m taking it as a good sign + the timing seems pretty divine – I’m definitely feeling my angels all around me.

That being said, I didn’t want to neglect the blog so I’m back with a cute style post for ya! This is such a simple yet chic look that I put together and wore on a warm early spring day last week.

It’s giving me early 2000’s pop star off duty vibes and I’m lovin’ it! I shot this by myself with my tripod and a remote on a little street in downtown Vancouver and I’m pretty impressed with the turnout. Take a look at the rest of the pics below and let me know what you think! xx

cozy vibes cont’d

wow, can you believe it guys? I’m back on the blog within the span of a few days, I don’t know who I’ve become but I like him, lol.

On the real though, I hope that you guys are doing well. I’ve taken a lot of time to myself to reflect on life and make some changes that I hope will help bring some needed positivity + steps in the right direction in regards to my personal life, career and everything in between.

Mental health is no joke and this past year has really tested me in ways that I couldn’t have imagined. I’m happy to say that I do believe that I’ve turned a new leaf and I’m in a much better space mentally and spiritually but trust me, it wasn’t easy. I’ll share more details about my journey another day but I want you all to know that life is v precious and you should never feel ashamed to ask for help.

Also, never give up on your dreams, no matter how out of reach they might seem! If no one else believes in you, I believe in you and what’s meant to be will be, I promise you that!

Anyways, this is supposed to be a style blog and here I am talking about my feelings and no mention of my style, lol. I’ve beeeeen living in sweats for too long but I’m making a promise to myself that I’ll switch it up more often, at least for the blog.

I wore this on Valentine’s Day, super simple, super cozy vibes. It’s from H&M women’s collection, some say it’s grey but it’s giving me a dark grey/purple tint which I love – do you?

I only took a few pics that I liked before getting brunch and snacks so see them below.

Valentine’s Day

Well, I’m back and a lot sooner than I expected, lol. There’s a lot of changes that are going on in my life right now and I can’t wait to share them all with you.

In the meantime, I worked on a cool campaign with Bulova watches for Valentine’s Day and I wanted to share the images with you. It’s a giveaway that’s taking place on Instagram here, and I wanted to be a part of it because 1) I really like the brand, 2) I love Valentine’s Day (single or in a relationship, lol), 3) you guys get a chance to win a dope watch!

I hope that you guys have a great weekend filled with love and light!

Good Days

Well guys, we made it to 2021! I’m going to hold off on my predictions for the year, as last year was…well you guys were there, lol.

Currently, in Toronto we’re in a lockdown so there’s not too much happening on my end but I’m hopeful that things will change for the better soon (prayer hands).

I woke up today in a good mood and decided to take some pics and showcase some of my favourite items at the moment – linked below!

I hope that you guys are all holding up and that this year brings you a little closer to your dreams and desires!
