Now don’t get confused with the title of this post. I’m a Gemini x 2 (sun + rising) with a Sagittarius moon but I’ve got to show love to Aries season cuz it always feels like the season that things finally start to pick up speed – and I’m here for it!
I told you guys last time that I’m in the process of making changes in my life (professional + personal) and I’m almost ready to share them with you guys… but not just yet. There’s a few things that just need to be ironed out but we’re almost there and I’m very excited about this new journey I’m about to venture on.
It’s been a while since Ive been this excited and nervous so I’m taking it as a good sign + the timing seems pretty divine – I’m definitely feeling my angels all around me.
That being said, I didn’t want to neglect the blog so I’m back with a cute style post for ya! This is such a simple yet chic look that I put together and wore on a warm early spring day last week.
It’s giving me early 2000’s pop star off duty vibes and I’m lovin’ it! I shot this by myself with my tripod and a remote on a little street in downtown Vancouver and I’m pretty impressed with the turnout. Take a look at the rest of the pics below and let me know what you think! xx
I’m a business man and I mean business in this look! I shot this outfit a few days ago and I felt like such a boss wearing it. This is one of those looks that you put on when you’re feeling good about yourself and you’re ready to take on the world! I love this oversized blazer that I picked up from ASOS and how it just completes the vibe. I could’ve opted for plain black denim but I felt that the leather pants component added a bit more luxe and edge.
See a few more pictures that I snapped below. I hope you guys like it!
Hey guys, I hope that you’re all doing well – I still cannot believe that it’s September already! It feels like just yesterday I decided to move back to Toronto from London – sigh, time is moving so quickly! Anyways enough of wondering where the time is going, let’s get right into this look.
I’ve actually had this powder blue double breasted blazer from ASOS in my closet since the beginning of the summer, and I was waiting for the right moment to wear/shoot it. I don’t know what made it the right moment this week, but it was, and I’m in LOVE with the outcome! I wanted this piece to be the statement of the entire outfit so I kept everything else very sleek and minimal. Since it’s oversized, I could’ve went with a skinny pant but I decided to add volume to the look by pairing it with some wide leg trousers. Which in my opinion, really accentuates the overall silhouette of the look.
This is one of those outfits that’s very versatile and can be worn to a business meeting, a fancy lunch at L’Avenue (I have Paris on my mind, sigh) or to an early evening event (I wore this to the first day of Toronto Fashion Week). I hope that you guys are into it!
Hi guys – I’m back on the blog today with a cozy spring time look that I shot before the crazy ice storm hit Toronto! Can you believe that we had an ice storm in the month of April?! It’s absolutely insane to me! I swear if the weather doesn’t get warm quickly, I’ll have no choice but to go on a long beach vacation (no joke haha!).
I love this look, it’s so me at the moment. I love the oversized, Japanese street style aesthetic it’s inspired from. From the oversized denim jacket, to the wide leg pants to the chunky sneakers, I think they all compliment each other so well.
Whenever I’m in Toronto, I’m always on the go and my goal is to always be comfortable but not look like a blob at the same time (haha), so this outfit works for me. I could wear this to a collection preview, to do stylist pulls and attend a lunch meeting – while still being stylish and comfortable.
So… these last two weeks have been pretty hectic on my end. I’m not sure if I shared this with you guys before but there’s something going on in the universe right now and I feel like there’s a huge shift that’s going to happen in my life and I’m just trying to prepare for it. I’ve been getting a lot of subtle signs and it’s caused me to be more present in my everyday life, which I tend to struggle with but honestly, I’d be lying if I didn’t admit that I just want this ‘thing’ to happen already (I have the patience of a two-year old sometimes haha)! I’m convinced that it either has something to do with my career path or my love life. I don’t want to assume too much as to what it’s going to be but either way I’m excited for it! Anyways… enough about all of that, let’s talk about this look that I put together over the weekend! I am in love with its simplicity yet how much attention it demands at the same time. Sticking to a pretty simple colour scheme, I wanted to make a bold statement with the pieces that I chose to incorporate within this outfit without being ‘too loud’. I just got this black jacket (not to be mistaken as a bath robe haha) the other day from ASOS and I’m obsessed with it. It’s so cozy and oversized and just plays well with so many pieces. I paired this jacket with a grey hoodie, some black joggers and the ‘zebra’ Yeezy 350 V2’s. This look is totally me at the moment, it’s fun it’s understated yet something you won’t forget. I hope that you guys are into it!
If you pay attention to men’s fashion, you’ve probably noticed an increase in the amount of flannel being carried by your favourite brands or boutiques. I can’t really tell you who started this trend or why all of a sudden it’s becoming more and more popular but I’m not complaining. I love flannel, not all the time but if it’s worn right it can definitely bring your look up a notch. Flannel always makes me think of the west coast and the 90’s, which in my opinion are both amazing. I paired my vintage flannel shirt with a graphic tee, some khaki joggers and my white huaraches. Super clean, super casual and oh so wavy! Continue Reading…
Hey guys, I feel like I haven’t done a style post in a while…crazy right? This look totally brings me back to my days working retail at the GAP (my first real job). It’s clean, it’s classic and looks pretty effortless. Back in my high school days I would’ve opted for slim fit jeans to wear with my long line tank and oxford shirt (I was such a prep) but this time around I decided to make it a little more current by wearing denim joggers and throwing on a fitted cap. This is definitely something I would wear over the weekend, grabbing a few cocktails at a bar or heading out to see a movie.
