Hi BBs, I just wanted to jump on the blog to share this casual look I shot a few days ago. I LOVE how simple yet vibey this outfit is. My friends over at H&M sent me this beautiful Oversized Recycled Wool-Coat from their newly launchedCircular Design Story collection and I love the way that it completes this look.
One of my tips that I always recommend to guys for the fall/winter season is to invest in a good overcoat because it instantly elevates your outfit, no matter what you’re wearing underneath.
This is definitely an outfit I’d wear to run errands in the city, meet up with a friend for lunch or something of that nature.
Three posts in less than two-weeks, who am I? lol. I’m not even going to try and analyze it, let’s just go with the flow.
I shot this look last week and I’m really into it. It’s simple, yet put together. I’m really into high waisted + wide leg denim at the moment and these are probably my favourite pair (Zara). I decided to keep the colour scheme light and used this #EditionByJohnBoyega cardigan as my statement piece + pop of colour.
This is definitely a day outfit. Something that I’d wear to run errands, attend a press preview, and to a lunch date.
For this project, I wanted to switch things up and utilize more of a nature vibe instead of my usual city aesthetic. It’s crazy because I’ve lived in Toronto for 10+ years and I’ve probably only been to the Islands a handful of times. It’s such a pretty area of Toronto and really has a different energy from what I’ve come to expect from the city.
Coincidentally, I happened to be there on 11:11 which was one of the most powerful manifestation days of the year. I always feel that I’m the most connected to the Universe when I’m near water and to be immersed in nature that day definitely felt powerful.
Before I get sidetracked about energy and the Universe – let’s talk about this look! I am OBSESSED with my new puffer jacket – which is from the latest collaboration between Canada Goose and Angel Chen. The colour is amazing, it’s reversible,light-weight and very warm. I also have to highlight the boots that I’m wearing – which happens to be the brands first ever foray into footwear. These are The Journey Boot in black and they’re not only comfy, they’re ultra warm and much lighter than you’d expect.
You know me, regardless of where I’m going, my outfit needs to match my vibe and I feel like this look is still giving fashion yet practical for the elements. I hope you guys like it as much as I do!
I told y’all I’d be back soon and here I am… back with another street style post! I shot this look yesterday and I’m in LOVE with it. The main pieces are from the recently dropped #EditionByJohnBoyega for H&M collection (coat, vest + pants).
I love this collection because I think it’s very diverse but at the same time there’s a cohesive element to it that ties each piece together. These are three of my favourite items that I could’ve styled each piece separately, but I loved the way they came together for this fit. This is my “Get The Bag” Autumn edition, lol.
Well…it’s been a while, lol. I am so sorry that I left y’all hanging for this long, but I’m back with lots of stuff coming up! I also think that it’s time for a site revamp, so let me make that happen.
Anyways, I came on here to talk about my recent trip to Montréal, so let’s talk about Montréal.
My girl Sasha and I went on a quick road trip to Montréal for work + a change of scenery. We went during the week so I wasn’t sure what to expect but as always, we had the best time.
Sasha and I have been friends for 10+ years and she’s actually the last person I traveled with (Dominican Republic) before the world shut down in 2020, so we were definitely due for some fun. We stayed at The Four Seasons Montréal – which did not disappoint.
Once I learned about the messaging of the campaign and seeing the collection, I knew that I wanted to be apart of it. The campaign is all about love – loving yourself, loving your peers for who they are, the freedom to love whoever you choose, and uniting over sports and creativity.
This is a message that I stand behind and in all honesty something that I needed to hear growing up. I really do hope that by creating these types of campaigns, and increasing representation in all forms of media that the next generation are not only able but encouraged to truly be themselves!

So, warm weather has finally decided to make an appearance in Canada and hopefully that means that it’s here to stay. I don’t know about you but after the year that we’ve had, I plan on taking full advantage of the beautiful weather for as long as I can.
That being said, although I know that the use of sunscreen is important all year round (even when it’s cloudy), I recently made it my mission to find the perfect SPF to compliment my skincare regimen.
Olay Regenerist Whip SPF25 has become the newest addition to my skincare line up and I’ll share with you a few reasons why…
I’ve had problematic skin in the past and have sensitive skin overall. I tend to be very selective about the products that I use and I only add items that elevate my skin – Olay Regenerist Whip SPF25 does just that!
The Active Rush Technology used to create the Whip SPF25 allows for the creamy lightweight texture to transform into liquid on your skin effortlessly. Which makes it easy to absorb without clogging your pores and leaving that grey or greasy film (yuck) that some sunscreens do.
Olay Regenerist Whip SPF25 not only acts as a sunscreen but can be used as a moisturizer as well – basically a 2-in-1! So, not only does it protect your skin from UV rays, it also hydrates and moisturizes your skin at the same time. Personally, I enjoy this feature for the days that I’m in a rush or when I have to get ready outside of the house – as it’s time efficient and cuts back on the products I have to carry.
I also really like the fact that the technology used within Olay Regenerist Whip SPF25 was created with an anti-aging formula in mind. This formula helps with reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, which you all know that I’m trying to hold onto my youth for as long as I possibly can (lol).
Overall, I like to live my life as freely as I can and I love knowing that the products that I’m choosing to use are continuously working for me. That reassurance that I’m not only protecting my skin but nurturing it by using Olay Regenerist Whip SPF25 allows me to live a little more in the moment and to me that’s priceless!
Hi bb’s – did you miss me?! I missed y’all so much. I was doing so well with my blog updates and then life got a little wild (lol)… but I’m back and it’s Gemini season!
I’m acting like Gemini season moves slow, when in reality it’s when things really start to ramp up. Between social media content, my social life and this new venture I’ve been working on, oh and my birthday, it’s going to be a high energy month! Daddy misses the hustle and bustle though haha.
So, I’m still in Vancouver and I’m finally getting used to it. Toronto will always be home and I’ll definitely be going back, it’s just when is the question?!?! I miss my friends, and the city vibe but from what I’ve been hearing, it’s going to be awhile until things are back to normal.
Anyways, I wanted to share this cute look that I shot over the weekend. Just a heads up, you’re going to see a lot of cropped tops this season, it’s just the wave that I’m on. I love this look, it’s relaxed, it’s athletic but it’s put together. This is a run errands fit or a casual meet up with friends kind of vibe – I hope you like it!
So, you know the saying ‘when you make a plan, God laughs’ I feel like that’s been my life for the last year and a bit. Like most of you, I had v big plans for 2020 (like, life changing BIG) and then covid happened and everything fell apart.
I was emotional, lost and not sure how to process everything. It felt like my life was unraveling right in front of my eyes and there was nothing I could do about it. I’m a low key planner (I know, odd for a Gemini) and I’m not one to play the victim role. My entire life, I have always found a way but with all of the restrictions and health concerns that covid brought, I really couldn’t think of a way to pivot.
Long story short, I hit a very low point, to which I decided to stop trying to control things that were out of my control and to start listening attentively to the Universe.
Fast forward to 2021 and I’ve ended up magically on the west coast of Canada – Vancouver, BC to be exact. I won’t go into details yet, but just know that it’s beautiful here, very different from Toronto but beautiful none the less.
I’ve been taking some time to just take in everything that this city has to offer (nature included, who am I?!?!) and finding + rebuilding myself.
After being in Toronto, which is one of the most locked down places in North America, it feels good to be able to have some normalcy back in my life (Vancouver is still taking precautions with covid but the restrictions are a lot less strict).
I’m going to come back to this in another post but we’re going to pause this topic for now until I’m able to share the rest with you at a later date!
So, that being said. You guys know that I LOVE me a travel diary, so doing one (or more) for Vancouver is a must! My girl Jaime, happens to be here as well so we’ve been making the most of our time, exploring and getting to know the city.
As always, I’ve snapped some pics along the way for you. Some street style, scenery, eats + everything in between – I hope you like it!
