Can you guys believe that it’s February already?! Honestly, the way that time is flying by,definitely freaks me out. Which kind of leads me to my point for this blog post. Over the last few months, I’ve learned more & more how valuable time truly is and how important it is, not to waste it. Here are a few things that I’ve been putting into action lately and have seen some pretty stellar results so far.
1. If there’s something that you want to do write it down! By writing your goals down it makes you feel more responsible to follow through with them. Brainstorm ideas, create a plan and put it into action. Trust me when I say, nothing feels more fulfilling than being able to check things off your bucket list.
2. Stop caring about what other people think. This one is much easier said than done, but it’s definitely worth attempting. In the past I’ve let the opinions of others prevent me from doing things that I wanted to do and over time realized that if I’m not hurting anyone and it makes me happy, I’m going to do it! Life is too short to not do the things that you love!
3. Cut out the dead weight in your life! Energy is very contagious and being surrounded by people with negative energy is toxic and draining. Don’t get me wrong, we all have bad days but if every interaction with a ‘friend’ or ‘lover’ leaves you feeling some type of way… it’s time to let them go. It can be hard at first but once it’s done you’ll be thankful that you did.
4. Lastly, trust in yourself and the timing of your life. I’ve shared this with you guys before but I can’t stress how important it is. A lot of us hold super high expectations for ourselves and if we don’t meet those expectations by a specific time frame we get really down. I’ve learned that what’s meant to be, will happen when it’s the right time (in all areas of life). Your sole responsibility is to work hard, have patience, be positive and be ready when the opportunity presents itself.

The Holidays are a time of indulgence – if you’re like me (and I know you are), you’re gearing up for a couple of busy weeks that will include a lot of champagne drinking, wine sipping, and the occasional celebratory shot or two… That said, as much as we may love our long nights out, they definitely do take a toll on our bodies. Symptom number one – the hangover. Consider the following recipe an early holiday gift from yours truly – this juice is filled with all kinds of healthy deliciousness and always leaves me feeling energized and reinvigorated after a night filled with (a little too much) festive cheer.
What You Need
Spinach – helps the body’s circulatory system | Kale – full of antioxidants |Broccoli – the nutrients in broccoli help get rid of headaches | Parsley – helps cleanse the liver, kidneys, and urinary tract | Celery – helps calm down the nervous system | Cucumber – they taste great! | Green Apples – help remove toxins from the body | Lemon – helps continue the removal of toxins | Grapefruit – really good for cleansing the digestive system |

A Few Pointers
Thoroughly wash all vegetables and fruits! | Juice in the order that you feel best works for your machine – every one is different. | Don’t be afraid to use the stalks as well as the leaves, but separate the two first for the most juice! | I serve myself a glass and bottle the rest, with a good shake it’s good for a few days in the fridge.
