Last week I got the chance to test out the new LunarGlide 6’s from Nike and I must admit I was pretty impressed. Great support and even better colorway this shoe did not disappoint. If you’re in the market for a new pair of kicks or training for an upcoming fall race, these could be the perfect shoes for you. Did I mention that these may or may not have helped me keep up with Lebron James during the #RunWithTheWinners ‘Toronto Edition’ run this past Sunday?!
What I’m Wearing
Lunarglide 6 – NIKE | Leather Snapback – VINTAGE | Fuelband SE – NIKE | Hoops Elite Max Air Backpack – NIKE | Sphere Short Sleeve Top – NIKE ( Red Option) | Tech Run Tights – NIKE (similar here)
I know first hand that it’s not only novice runners that have trouble maintaining a training schedule – regardless of your history with the sport, life can get in the way. The Nike + Running app stands out among wearable & interactive fitness tech for many things, but my favourite aspect has to be the ‘Coach’ feature that provides you with reminders, training tips, & schedules to help you prepare for your next big race. I’m pushing myself to complete a 10k sometime this summer & I trust that this tool will help get me to that level.
Speaking of training, Nike is launching a series of runs to help people stay on track – the first one being this Friday, January 24th. For those of you that like the supportive environment of group runs, things kick off at Black Toe Running (95 Bathurst Street) at 6pm.
